3 or more years experience with MS SQL Server 7.0, MS SQL Server 2000.
3 or more years of financial industry experience.
3 years of Database Development experience using Microsoft SQL Server database objects required.
Good to have SQL Server 2005 developer experience.
Experience creating database Stored Procedures, tables, views, indexes
Experience with database architecture and schema design
Proven experience using Transact SQL, Stored Procedure and UDF.
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
Demonstrated experience in tuning database and its objects. Understanding of databases indexes.
Understanding of database design practices, including database normalization concepts.
Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed
Optimize T-SQL code
Create test scripts
Support database testing
Experience with MS SQL Server DTS.
Prefer background in Microsoft networking.
Proven ability to work with in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent self management skills (task lists, status reports, prioritization)
Able to work in cross-functional teams
